Maintenance Management Software
Ok, this post is for all you guys who have large businesses, with lots of employees, and assets of all kinds. This won’t be of much interest to the smaller Mom & Pop businesses out there.
I became more aware of the need for all kinds of maintenance, because a relative of mine works at a very large university, and is responsible for the physical plant. Well, that means everything physical about the place- the buildings, the chairs, the tables, the school vehicles, the computers, everything. Can you imagine how difficult it is to keep up with all that? Anything needing repair, wearing out, getting outdated, being ordered new, moving from one place to another, getting worked on, being built, or simply being cleaned has to be kept track of.
So when this piece of software came by my desk, it caught my eye. This company, Maintenance Connection, has it all together. They help your company manage your maintenance by using the software systems they set up for you. They’ve been in business since 1999, connecting maintenance professionals to their operations in a way that is way more efficient than could be done manually, with paper and printout. With their maintenance software, all levels of the operations can be kept track of, more than I can cover here.
If you have a large company, and find keeping up with all the various and ever-changing challenges, give these guys a shout, cause they probably can help.
Here’s a screenshot of some of the reports they can generate:
