Be Sure Your Audios Are Legal
Aug 9th
A video without audio is likely to be flat and boring. Adding the right music as a background can create mood and excitement that can make or break the viewer’s experience. Unfortunately, YouTube videos are not showing without sound. Why? Because the soundtrack used is copyrighted, and the maker of the video did not have permission to use it. Be careful not to break the law by putting someone’s music track beneath your video is you do not have the right to do so.
There are various ways to get music tracks that you can safely use. One way is to make use of the music shared on sites such as Creative Commons, Incompetech, and Jamendo. On these sites, the creators share their works with the public. You might also try finding some at sites that have stocked libraries of classic music and loops, like iStockPhoto. You could tap into the membership site TwoBuckThemes, and get 5 loops each month for $10.
However you find your music, just make sure that you have the right to use it publicly, and there should be no problems.

Managing Your SEO is Important
Mar 28th
In our techno lives, using search engines is so common that we use “google” as a verb.
We all look online for stuff when we’re looking for deals, and website owners know that they need to be up on search marketing and using strategies for getting the most out of searches to help those customers find them online. There are also means of getting ads placed on those same pages where people are looking, and the advertiser only has to pay for those ads when someone actually clicks on it. This is called Pay Per Click advertising, because you pay for each click, not for whether or not anyone has seen the ad.
When you plan a campaign with PPC (pay per click) you will need to carefully choose key words and keyword phrases that you customer would be using to look for your product. Think like the customer, and choose words he would choose.
Then carefully think about the ad copy itself. This is the wording of the ad, that people will see. It must entice the reader to click, in order to get more information. You can target your ad to locals, or have it seen More >
Cash Sweepstakes and other Online Possibilities
Mar 19th
As always, I’m on the lookout for ways to make money online. Most of them require quite a learning curve. I’ve bought people’s products and spent months learning the ins and outs of the software, doing just what I’ve been told, and then, after months of effort, and added expense, find out that it’s going to cost me even more to continue, without getting anything in return first. It’s a long haul.
There are ways to make money out there, and they do show themselves if you keep at it. You can always sell someone else’s products as an affiliate, and that’s often the first thing you’ll hear about when you start to look. The problem with that is the word “sell”. That one word is what internet marketing is all about, and it encompasses absolutely everything on the net.
People are making money via affiliate products, and by marketing their own stuff, and by writing articles for pay, and even taking surveys. The internet even has a whole lot of legitimate cash sweepstakes out there can can be taken advantage of. You could set up adsense websites, and if you have enough of them, you might actually make a buck. Or, your could just devote your time to a blog, and then, when you have lots of traffic, sell advertising space on it.
I know of one lady who travels around the world recording sounds of nature, and then she sells the recordings online. Pretty cool business. Keep your eyes open, and if you come across a unique way to make money online, let me know, I’m all ears!
